Sitting here listening to Nashville Pussy - Say Something Nasty. I can't help but remember the last time I saw them. They were rocking Hollywood with the Reverend Horton Heat. Killer fucking show.
Nothing finer than watching the Redneck Rock Daddy, Blaine Cartwright lay it the fuck down.
If you haven't heard the man lay down "Kicked In The Teeth" on track #1 from the compilation Heads Will Roll you need to grab it as soon as you can. Blaine Cartwright is what American Rock has been missing for years now, and I am glad to see something nasty come out that reaches back into the depths of the basics of rock and fucking roll!
Say Something Nasty is a hot album. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND, "The Bitch Just Kicked Me Out," and the stomping track "You Give Drugs A Bad Name!"
You just don't get much better than that, not these days. It's about time.
I own all of their studio albums and a couple rarities I guess. One of my absolute favorites though is the track "She's Got The Drugs, on the album High as Hell. Get it NOW!
